15 Best Weapon Mods for Baldur’s Gate 3 (2024)

Baldur’s Gate 3 is 10/10, you know it I know everybody knows it. Do you know what can make it even better? Mods! With the release of official modding tools this year, we want to point to some of the great mods you want to keep an eye on and try out.

With official modding tools out, these mods will get even better and be even easier to install. 

If nothing else they will be available to you guys who play on consoles.

So enough of the foreplay let’s get into it.

1. OROCHIGAGO HOMEBREW WEAPONS

This mod will add a lot of Immersive Weapons that fit into a Baldurs Gate 3 so much, that you won’t be able to tell the devs didn’t make them.

With special new stats they have they will be a great addition to your new playthrough.

2. ELVEN WEAPONRY

This is a great thematic Armour mod for Elves players. Now the one we linked here has mostly scimitars and longswords.
However, if you check the mod author page there are many more thematic elven weapons including Spears, Bows, Glavies, and Staffs among many others. Feel free to download all of them just like we did.

3. DWARVEN WEAPONRY-STEAM CARBINE

Coming from the same author we have something different. Guns dudes! However, this mod is done so well that it fits into the world of BG3 seamlessly.
It is a Steam Carbine made by dwarfs, that does a lot of damage but it has drawbacks… Like using a bonus action to reload and firing back at you if you miss.

Amazing mod make sure to pick it up.

4. DWARVEN WEAPONRY-DRAKEFIRE FLINTLOCK

If you want a gun that you can dual-wield like some badass cowboy from a movie here is a mod for you. 

From the same mod author as the rifle up there, this is another awesome mod that adds guns that fit into the world.

5. HALF-ORC WEAPONRY

For all you Ragy Boyz and Girlz that want to bonk people on the head with big clubs I got you covered.

Barbarians are people of few words and i will be the same for this mod.

6. UNHOLY BERSERKER

Another mod that fits barbarians or any type of fighter or necromancer. It’s a 2 handed axe that looks absolutely amazing like it was made in Avernus itself.

You can also choose an option to get it immersively in the basement where you find that necromancy book if you know what I mean.

7. BLADES OF THE FALLEN PRINCE

In the same vein as the mod before we have 2 swords that are based on death knight swords from World Of Warcraft. If you want to play a fallen paladin or a necromancer I cant recommend this mod enough. They look awesome and you can dual-wield them if you get the feat.

8. HELM’S ARMORY

Switch from barbarians necromancers and deathknights to our holy boyz, paladins! 

Here we have two mods for you. 

This one has an amazing-looking shield and sword, that is very powerful (plus there is some armor included in it as a bonus).

9. EXCALIBUR

One more for paladins for you guys who like glowing swords. It is based on a sword from ff14 and it is very powerful like the swords in the previous mod.

And its name is Excalibur, too bad you can’t pull it out of the stone like Phalar Aluve.

10. LEY MULTIVERSE OF DARK SOULS

Now we are going to give you a few BG3 weapon mods from other universes, including games and movies. 

This mod will add several swords and shields from Dark Souls.

My favorite thing from this bundle is Claymore, which fits into the game seamlessly, and the Sun Shield ofc. Praise the sun!

11. BLOODBORNE TRICK WEAPONS

We all know Bloodborne, we all like Bloodborne… We are all waiting for a remake!

Until we get one, download this weapon mod, choose a Ranger, and pretend you are hunting monsters in BG3.

12. LORD OF THE RINGS WEAPONRY

I don’t need to tell you guys anything. This mod includes several weapons from LOTR. 

Including Aduril, Sting, and several others.

If you adore LOTR(the movies not whatever Amazon did) feel free to salivate at the mouth while equipping any of these weapons, I know I did.

13. THOR LORD OF THUNDER

Ah my favorite god from Norse mythology. 

With his popularity spiking with Marvel movies and the new God of War Ragnarok I am sure a lot of you will like this mod.

It adds both Mjolnir and Stormbraker for you to wield.

14. BLADES OF CHAOS

Speaking of God of War here are the most iconic weapons from the franchise, The Blades of Chaos. That is all the explanation you need.

15. THE DRAGONSLAYER

I always leave the best for last, and it’s me so you usually know what it is.

That’s right, this mod adds Dragonslayer to the game and as a bonus, you get his other sword, the one he was using while he was in the Band of he Hawk.

This is my favorite Weapons mod and now you all know about it too.
