I could write an intro (or ask ChatGPT to do it for me) with many buzz words to hype you all about these Diablo 4 rogue armor sets. I’d rather not. What you read in the title is what you get, so here are the pics of every rogue armor set in the game on male and female.
All of these set pieces are random drops from the world and you need to dismantle them at your local blacksmith to unlock the appearance. They don’t come with any bonuses, and are simply transmog outfits to make your character look cooler.
I will offer two disclaimers, though, before you feast your eyes:
There are some armor pieces that are not part of sets, so I won’t include them.
After 200 hours of gameplay we still have 2 Wardrobe slots locked so I’m not sure if those are upcoming rogue armors or they are some sort of legendary drop that is impossible to get. Keep that in mind.
Alright, these are the Diablo 4 rogue armor sets that I’ve found. Loads of them, right? Some cool designs, too. There’s a couple of slots still locked after a ton of hours in-game, which means there’s probably more coming or some super rare stuff we haven’t found yet.
Just keep playing, mix stuff up to see what looks good or works best for your rogue. That’s about it. If they drop new gear, you’ll find out when you stumble across it in-game. Until then, just keep slashing through whatever Diablo throws at you.
Alright, let’s cut to the chase: you’re on the hunt for the best Elden Ring mods because, let’s face it, you’ve already beaten the game more times than you can count, or maybe you’re just looking to spice things up without turning your game into a weird anime crossover.
We’ve been there, so we spent a questionable amount of time modding the heck out of Elden Ring, from armor that makes you look like a fantasy runway model to weapons that’d make even Guts from Berserk go hollow. No shady 18+ stuff, let’s keep it classy.
All of the Elden Ring mods recommended below have personally been installed and tested by us. Here’s some quick links to jump to what you want:
Most of the mod pages have installation instructions. Some gameplay changing Elden Ring mods are more complex than others. If you are interested, we have a separate step-by-step guide on how to install simple versions of the mods (like armor and weapons), that even a person who never installed a mod in their life can easily follow. Before you check out the mods, I strongly recommend giving it a read: how to install Elden Ring mods.
Note from the author
So, strap on, Tarnished, I am Wolf, and I will be your guide through the best Elden Ring mods, starting with:
Our favorite Elden Ring armor mods
Now I know what you might be thinking, buddy, this game already has a lot of great armor options, covering every possible archetype and with plenty of outlandish options to boot thrown in there, why would I ever need to download armor mods?
We were of the same mind, but the quality of these modders’ works made us quickly change our minds. From blasts to the past of FromSoftware games to modifying things that are already in the game and bringing out some of the most beloved and unique armors from other fantasy franchises that we love.
What is the best way to honor Kentaro Miura, the deceased creator of the famous manga series Berserk that Elden Ring’s creators took heavy inspirations from, then this absolute beast of a cursed berserker armor? As a bonus, you will get a Dragon Slayer colossal sword as well.
Mod author M P L even went out of their way to add different options (like different helmet variations, alternate textures for a Dragon Slayer) to satisfy almost everyone’s needs, so we are not surprised at all that this is the most downloaded mod in the armor category.
Most mods replace armors already in the game but this mod adds the whole new armor set that you can get from Twin Maiden Husks in Roundhouse Table. Sword replaces Greatsword found here: Map Link.
Dark souls armors as Elden Ring mods
Are you a Dark Souls veteran? Were you ever under the impression that while great, Elden Ring’s armors just don’t quite reach the quality of your favorite designs from all the previous games? Say no more, we got you covered with just some of the many Dark Souls series armor sets options that you can dig out on the page.
The first armor you get when picking a knight class and the only armor I wore during my DS3 playthrough (insert pics). All the sets are made by mod author KRDCD, and this armor set by default replaces Blood hound knight set set that you can find in Gelmir Hero Grave , dropping from the Bloodhound Knight guarding a chest: Map Link.
Featured in Dark Souls 2 trailer footage, it is one of the beloved sets from the series and one of our personal favorites. Made by the same author, this set replaces the Carian Knight Set that you can find hidden off the path in Raya Lucaria Academy: Map Link
This set is a great option if you are looking for a Rogue/Ranger-like gritty weathered look (insert pics). Replaces the Scaled Armor Set that drops from Old Knight Istvan. You can invade him as a part of your first assassination quest found at the Volcano Manor: Map Link.
If you don’t like armored knights and are more into mages, and you really want to be a pyromancer and “Keeper of Fire,” we got you covered with this iconic set worn by the Firekeeper in Dark Souls 3 (insert pics).
This armor replaces a couple of parts from different armor sets:
The best way to complete the list is this amazing armor set from a tragic figure Artorias, who was a boss in Dark Souls 1 DLC. This armor replaces Blaidd’s Set (spoiler alert), dropped after defeating Blaidd at the end of Rannis’ questline: Map Link. Black Wolf Mask comes separate and can be found here: Map Link.
Lord of the Rings sets as Elden Ring mods
If you’re a fan of the Lord of the Rings (the old one, not the new one… nobody likes the new one), but you always thought that those dirty hobbits, man, and elves should lose and the Dark Lord should prevail, you might want to check out the next 2 armor sets to help you complete your domination of Middle… I mean, Lands Between.
The armor from the Dark Lord himself in his prime days, made complete by his mace for maximum immersion (insert pic). This armor replaces the Gelmir Knight Set found in Gelmir Hero’s Grave in a chest guarded by Bloodhound Knight: Map Link.
Not a Dark Lord himself, but his first mate is nothing to joke about. This armor replaces Night’s Cavalry Set set that you can get from beating 2 night riders, during nighttime in the hidden late area of the game: Map Link.
Game armor upscaling and variant Elden Ring mods
What if you really like the armors that are already in the game but you don’t like the simple customization options and hope you could do more than remove the cloak? Here are some mods that modify already existing armors in the game that we found to be the most inspired:
This is a great-looking armor mod for battle mages, and this mod lets you modify things like gorget, tabard, and tassets, creating a look that you always wanted: Wiki link.
Did you always hate those oversized crests on knight armor sets? This mod has you covered by simply getting rid of them: Wiki link (it dose the same thing for every variation) In conclusion, modding is a great way to add some extra fun and excitement to any game, including Elden Ring. We hope these mods will give you hours of fun before we get the next content drop for the game.
Best weapon mods in Elden Ring
Tarnished, did you test all the bonk tools that the game gives you and are now sadly sitting in the corner of your room, because bonking monsters with the same old stuff doesn’t excite you anymore?
Worry not, we might just have a fix for that. These Elden Ring mods are going to put a new coat of paint over your weapons so you can get up, dust off, and go back into bonking stuff in no time.
What’s more iconic than cursed blades that are chained to Kratos’ arms by the former god of war Ares himself?
In a brilliant move, the mod author made these weapons replace whips so their animations are as close to God of War games themselves as they could possibly get.
You can replace 2 different whips with this mod:
Giant Red Braid obtained by trading Remembrance of the Fire Giant with Enia after killing a fire giant boss: Map Link.
Hoslow’s Petal Whip , dropped by Juno Hoslow as part of the final contract for the Volcano Manor Questline: Map Link.
Also known as Thor’s hammer (as most can’t pronounce Mew maw… see what I mean?), and the fact that this replaces one of the best hammers in the game with an amazing weapon art, this great bonker will send your enemies flying in no time.
Between an option with glowy runes, semi glowy runes, or just a clean normal look… The choice is yours provided by this amazing mod author. Whatever you choose, this HQ mod will get you to level up some axes at Master Hewg.
Replaces Highland Axe, looted off a corpse of the Grafted Scion in Stormveil Castle: Map Link
14. Lord of the Rings Arsenal
Back to our favorite franchise. If you ever dreamed about wielding weapons from our heroes (and some baddies thrown in there), your dreams are about to come true.
Replaces Moonveil katana obtained upon defeating the Magma Wyrm located in Gael Tunnel in Caelid: Map Link.
16. Elden Ring Weapon Change Mods
These Elden Ring mods are for you simple chads who would like to change a couple of things about the weapons that are already in the game. Maybe you don’t like the color, or you find some swords too short.
Would you like some more style and “cool factor” added to some of them and enhance the ashes of war of others to make them more potent.
We will point you to a few examples of mods that edit the things described above, and then you can continue exploring the rest and find things that suit you the most.
Here is a simple color change for one of the best medium shields in the game. If you don’t want that golden glow and are trying to make it fit your gray or dark fashion, this is a mod for you. Wiki Link
This Elden Ring mod just extends the length of a bunch of weapons. And this is not only for cosmetic purposes; it will increase the range of your hitbox, too. Amazing, right?
It replaces the majority of weapons, so much so that the mod author has a list of the weapons that were not replaced instead of ones that were. (If you are installing this mod, just note that it won’t be compatible with the above Elden Ring mods that change the same weapons).
We will leave the link to GAMMANguyener user page on Nexus and there you will find 3 weapons with suber buffed Ashes of War. You can choose an all-in-one mod or pick the weapons you want to modify.
Modding is a great way to add some extra fun and excitement to any game. We hope you have fun with the Elden Ring weapon mods we provided here for you.
Best gameplay changing mods in Elden Ring
While fans eagerly await the arrival of new DLC, the modding community has already been hard at work creating game-changing Elden Ring mods. These mods promise to enhance and transform the Elden Ring experience, offering players new ways to explore the game’s vast world and engage in combat.
Have you already played through the game 5 or 6 times? Already know where every single item and enemy is gonna be? Have you explored every nook and cranny of the map?
Don’t worry we have a mod for you that will make your new playthrough experience fresh and easy. Or hard. Or maybe both? We don’t know because this mod randomizes everything from bosses, enemies, and items, to key items and shops.
Check the mod author page for more details and a lengthy installation process but we assure you it’s worth it as this Elden Ring mod is a lot of fun to play through.
This mod is a massive overhaul that aims to create a new combat experience by transforming the game’s mechanics and balance. The focus is not on making the game easier or harder, but rather on making combat fair yet challenging, resulting in a more interesting and balanced gameplay.
Here are some features taken from the mod author’s page:
1. New gameplay mechanics like Deflects and Fortunes. Deflects are powerful timed blocks that give more skill and power to blocking. Fortunes are a new class system that gives new themed abilities to the player. 2. Complete enemy bestiary containing knowledge on all enemies and enemy variants in the game. 3. Rebalanced player equipment and features such as the 10 new Affinities and multiple new Spells. 4. Rebalanced status effects and the implementation of the Madness and Blight status against normal enemies. 5. Custom camera parameters for bosses, including some dynamic camera changes depending on what the boss is doing. 6. Modified enemy AI, including previously unused attacks and new mechanics. 7. Redone enemy hitboxes, so that what you see is what hits you 8. Difficulty options accessible at any time at all Sites of Grace. Unique game modes are also selectable at the beginning of the game. 9. Boss resurrection available at the Roundtable Hold.

CO-OP Mods
Let’s be honest guys, there is only one CO-OP mod you truly need: Seamless CO-OP. But, just in case new CO-OP Elden Rings mods appear in the meanwhile, we organized this separate category.
Image caption: Yes guys, you can use other mods like armor and weapons as long as your coop partner has them installed as well.
In essence, this mod enables you to play the game with your friends without any limitations from start to finish. As a result, it becomes conceivable to complete the entire game, including the tutorial and final boss, in a single cooperative playthrough.
Here as some of the features that are different in this mod from vanilla coop experience:
If a player dies, they will respawn in the same world at the last bonfire they rested at. The session will not be terminated.
Defeating enemy bosses and clearing areas no longer sends cooperators home.
All fog walls/barriers that usually restrict the multiplayer zone are gone.
All players can use torrent in a session together.
All map waypoints will synchronize, allowing you to navigate the world in a group easier.
When one player rests at a Site of Grace, the world state will reset for all players.
Game progression events completed in online play progress the game in your own world.
Varre’s questline no longer needs invasions to progress.
You can play with 5 other players in the open world.
Compared to normal Elden Ring CO-OP this mod has quality of life features that we are gonna list below:
A separate executable file that disables the Easy anti-cheat feature, which resolves the problem of frequent disconnections causing packet loss and bugs in Elden Ring’s implementation.
With the new connection system, your friends can now join you from any location in the world. This means that if you experience disconnection, you can easily and swiftly re-join the game and resume from where you stopped.
Counter Balance:
Playing as 2 people makes game a lot easier so the mod author has made some core changes to the combat:
To maintain the game’s difficulty level, extra enemy scaling tiers have been introduced as you are allowed to play with up to 5 phantoms, unlike the base game which only allows a maximum of 2.
Dying during a boss battle turns you into a spectating mod. You can watch the fight until everyone in the party has been defeated, or a player rests at a site of grace. To change between various spectator perspectives, you can utilize the arrow keys on your keyboard.
If your player dies, they will be affected by a stackable debuff called rot (similar to the Sekiro mechanic). With each subsequent death, the amount of rot will increase. The only way to remove rot is by sitting at a Site of Grace. When a player dies, one of the five types of rot will be randomly chosen. This system was put in place to prevent a scenario where one player repeatedly dies with no repercussions, while another player remains alive to prevent enemy respawn.
We have spent hours playing this mod and it’s safe to say that it ranks number one on our list (that is why it has a separate article only for itself) and we highly recommend that you try it. Have fun with your coop Lands Between adventures, Tarnished.
Wrapping up
So, there you have it – a buffet of Elden Ring mods that’s bound to keep you entertained until Miyazaki decides to bless us with more official content (or until you finally go outside, but who’s counting?).
Honestly, if none of these Elden Ring mods tickle your fancy, I don’t know what will. Maybe play Bloodborne again? Anyway, grab some mods, get back into the Lands Between, and let’s keep the cycle of dying horribly to the same boss at least somewhat interesting. Cheers!
This guide will take you through the process of modding Elden Ring with two separate tools. We aim to make it so that people who have never installed mods for a game in their lives can easily follow and understand.
Before you actually learn how to install Elden Ring mods there are a few things you should be aware of, so here are a few disclaimers:
Disclaimer #1: This guide is for simple mods like new armor and weapons or texture changes. More complex mods like overhauls and gameplay changes sometimes have unique installation guides that mod authors provide on their page.
Disclaimer #2: Tampering with game files and playing online will result in a ban from online play. We will provide you with methods to start the game in offline mode and avoid potential bans. We do not condone using mods in online play.
Disclaimer #3: Mods are third-party software, and while modding sites take great care to not allow any malware to be posted on their site, it can still happen. We take no responsibility for any problems that might occur while using mods.
Prerequisites for installing Elden Ring mods
To begin, you need a program like 7-Zip or WinRAR installed on your PC.
Register an account on NexusMods.com. This is where you will be downloading the mods from.
Before we begin, for easy restoration of your vanilla game files you can make a copy of your entire Elden Ring folder to a location of your choosing. That way, you’ll have an easy way to restore your game.
⚠️ Turn off online play before mod installation
Download Link: Anti-Cheat Toggler
Click the link provided above. Go to the file tab of the mod page and download the anti-cheat by pressing manual download, then slow download. Download Anti-Cheat Toggler
After it’s finished downloading, check the download folder on your PC (or the folder that you chose to download the file to) and find “ToggleAntiCheat.zip” ZIP file.
For your convenience, we strongly suggest you move the ZIP file to a new folder on your desktop or the location of your choosing for easy access to the files. Otherwise, right-click the ZIP file and choose the extract here option.
This is what the extracted file should look like:
Place the contents of “ToggleAntiCheat.zip” inside your game folder, for example, “C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Game\” (you can easily find your game folder by right-clicking on Elden Ring in your library tab on your Steam app, then selecting properties, local files, browse).
For your convenience, we strongly suggest you right-click on the toggle anti-cheat.exe file and create a desktop shortcut. Otherwise, click the same file and turn off the anti-cheat.
If you don’t care about toggling, you can use the “start_game_in_offline_mode.exe” to start the game in offline mode directly. This will make the game behave the same way as if you toggled the anti-cheat off. You can create a shortcut to this on your desktop by right-clicking the .exe and clicking “Send to” -> “Desktop (create shortcut)”.
Backing up and save your files
To locate your save files, follow this path: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\EldenRing. (If you don’t see it, or can’t get into this folder, you have to reveal hidden folders. To do that, in your folder browser, on top, click on View, then find hidden items and click the checkbox.)
For your convenience, we strongly suggest you create a new folder on your desktop and name it “Elden Ring vanilla save files” and copy-paste the folder that you just found into the freshly created folder on your desktop. Otherwise, copy the folder with your save files to a location of your convenience.

This concludes our guide on how to install Elden Ring mods. Hopefully it was clear enough. If you have any comments or questions feel free to reach out. We’ll reply when we’re done with our jolly cooperation.
Here is a little bit of context for those who played the Elden Ring or Dark Souls series. Lords of the Fallen is a new souls-like game made by Hexworks.
The studio has a history of making souls-like games, with this being a second installment in the series or, more accurately, a remake of the lore, world, and pretty much everything else.
While I find a new installment an improvement on every aspect over the first Lords of The Fallen, the game definitely has some issues. In my opinion, it doesn’t come close to any releases from From Software Studio.
Overall, I find Lords of the Fallen to be a fun experience, but what I’m about to describe is everything wrong with the game contained in a single boss fight, so here we go.
Fief of the Chill Curse
This is the area where our troubles start… and they start not even with a big true boss. They begin with a mini-boss named Kinrangr Guardian Folard.
This thing later in the zone just becomes a normal trash mob you have to deal with, and before you start laughing and tell me to GIT GUD, it took me three tries to kill this “boss.”
Now, if I killed him so fast, what could possibly make this article and voice such a bold claim?
Well, here is my explanation.
The very first time I entered this room, I saw the boss and three dogs lying around him, so at first, I thought, I’m going to shoot these bitches with my crossbow. Well, that was my second thought.
My first one was, “OMG, not another shitty boss with ads.” So even though I am a unga bunga, I hit things with my big weapon strength build guy I got and upgraded my crossbow because ads are a nightmare to deal with my slow, colossal weapon.
So I shoot the first one and notice an umbral parasite protecting them and the boss.
Fine, I think to myself and start moving towards it to siphon it with my lamp. Then I noticed the second thing: the whole area that you fight a boss in is in shallow water, which makes your character move at a walking sleep, making you a slow fat target, and that is a problem if you are trying to get to the other side of the room to take care of the parasite to make boss and ads vulnerable.
I try anyway, and while holding the lamp, I get attacked from the back and die. Fine, I think to myself and run towards the area again, and then I have an excellent idea.
You know what? I think to myself, I’m just going to risk it and go straight into Umbral so I don’t get slowed down by the water. I will run through and get the parasite quickly and finish this. So I do just that, and guess what? I kid you not: there is another mini-boss called Mendacious Visage in Umbral.
Lords of the Fallen Boss 12 screenshot
You know them, right? It’s the most annoying walking face rock thing that you have to hit in the back or wait for it to open its face so you can do damage to it. Needless to say, unlike some godlike gamers who are sure to spawn another in the comment section, that ad and mini-boss were impossible for me to deal with, so I died again after a brief fight.
And here comes my point… Every time you try to deal with a “mechanic” (more like annoyance) that devs put into this boss room, the same devs deny you. Instead of getting rewarded for thinking of a solution to deal with ads or the poodle of water, they put some cheap mechanic in to deny you.
So what are you left with?
How do you fight this boss?
Well, you run in roll towards the enemies, lure them away by rolling through the puddle back to the fog wall you just came from, and then roll back towards the parasite and pull out your lamp to try to get rid of it before the ads come back and smack you as you are helplessly holding the lamp up, sucking out the parasite.
Then you wait for an opening dogging through attacks of three ads and a boss that takes forever, and then you can finally fight this mini-boss one-on-one and try to learn his attack patterns.
Now I ask you, in what universe does any of this sound fun?
Fun difficult vs annoying difficult
I have a saying about games and difficulty: there is “fun difficult,” and then there is “annoying difficult“. Fun difficult is something Souls series have mastered over the years, and it includes throwing yourself at the boss until you learn his movements and patterns and eventually kill him, whether this takes ten pulls or 100 pulls.
Fun difficult includes well-telegraphed move sets, and if there are annoying or one shooting mechanics, fun difficult gives you the tools to counter them (a perfect example of this is Mohg’s “NIHILLLLLL!!” in Elden Ring that can be countered by an item that you can put in your flask or sacrificing 3 of potions). You can also bind him with a shackle, stunning him for a few seconds.
Now, annoying difficult(well, to be honest, just annoying as the mini-boss is not that hard) is what we have in Lords of the Fallen. There are several annoying mechanics put together in the same boss room. When you try to counter them using tools the game gives you, the devs show you the middle finger.
At the same time, they cackle and make you deal with it the hard way: “No counters, pls mister.” Otherwise, the boss will be too easy as it’s just a buffed up trash mob that we put in here for God knows what reason and it feels like playing the game against the developer rather than playing a game against the game.
It’s almost like the Lords of the Fallen devs are trying to defeat a player rather than designing a challenge for the player to overcome.
The bright spot in this is the devs seem to be extremely receptive to feedback, and we can only hope that future DLCs and the next game will have stuff like this removed and will bring it closer to the perfection that is Elden Ring because who would not want another one of those.
Am I right? Have a nice day, reader, and thanks for reading my rant.
