Mage Hand

Conjuration Cantrip

Create a spectral hand that can manipulate and interact with objects.

Range: 18m (60ft)

When to cast Mage Hand

This is a puzzle and utility tool first. The hand pulls faraway levers, grabs items across gaps, disarms traps from a safe distance, and shoves enemies off ledges, which is the one genuinely nasty combat trick it has.

It also carries and throws, so it can lob a potion to a downed ally or drop a barrel of smokepowder somewhere inconvenient. It recharges on a Short rest rather than per turn, so the summoned hand is a resource, not something you spam.
